1. About the Program
The Venergy Solar Customer Referral Program (“Program”) rewards eligible existing Venergy customers who introduce new residential customers to Venergy Solar and whose referrals result in a qualifying solar or battery installation.
By participating in the Program, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Definitions
3. Referrer Eligibility
3.1. Participation is open to existing residential customers who have completed and paid in full for a solar PV installation supplied and installed by Venergy.
3.2. There is no limit to the number of eligible referrals a Referrer may submit or the total value of rewards a Referrer may receive under the Program.
3.3. Referrers must provide accurate and complete information when submitting a referral.
3.4. Self-referrals, including referrals where the Referrer and Referred Customer are the same person or reside at the same residential address, are not eligible.
3.5. The Program is intended to reward genuine, independent customer referrals. Venergy reserves the right to assess referral eligibility on a case-by-case basis, including the nature of the relationship between the Referrer and the Referred Customer. Referrals involving employees, family members or associated parties may be excluded where they are not considered genuine and independent.
3.6. Referrals submitted through third-party lead brokers, commercial referral agencies or other arrangements that do not represent a genuine personal referral relationship are not eligible.
4. Referred Customer Eligibility
To qualify for a referral reward:
4.1. The Referred Customer must be a new residential sales prospect who has not independently contacted Venergy or had an active sales enquiry with Venergy within the 30 days preceding the referral submission.
4.2. The Referred Customer must not have been previously referred to Venergy by another person.
4.3. The Referrer must have obtained the Referred Customer’s permission to share their contact details with Venergy and for Venergy to contact them regarding solar and battery products.
4.4. The Referred Customer must proceed with the purchase and installation of an eligible system supplied and installed by Venergy.
4.5. The installation must take place at the residential address nominated in the original referral submission, unless otherwise approved by Venergy.
4.6. A referral does not qualify for a reward merely because an enquiry, quotation or sales appointment has been generated.
5. Eligible Systems
5.1. A Successful Referral must result in the supply and installation by Venergy of at least one of the following:
A complete, grid-connected residential solar PV system with an installed capacity of 5 kW or greater; or
A residential battery energy storage system with a nominal storage capacity of 13.5 kWh or greater.
5.2. Systems below these minimum capacities are not eligible for referral rewards.
5.3. The Program cannot be combined with other Venergy referral incentives, promotional reward programs or special offers unless expressly approved by Venergy.
6. Referral Rewards
6.1. Eligible Referrers will receive a prepaid Visa gift card for each Successful Referral.
6.2. The applicable reward value will be determined by the Referral Program offer published by Venergy at the time the eligible referral is submitted.
6.3. Referral rewards are issued only when all the following conditions have been satisfied:
The referral has been verified and approved as eligible.
The Referred Customer’s qualifying system has been fully installed.
The Referred Customer has paid all outstanding invoices in full.
Venergy has received all applicable government rebate, certificate or incentive proceeds associated with the installation.
6.4. Referral rewards will not be issued for cancelled, incomplete, unpaid, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible installations.
6.5. Only one referral reward is payable for each Referred Customer and qualifying installation, regardless of the number of products installed.
7. Reward Processing and Delivery
7.1. Once all eligibility and payment conditions have been satisfied, Venergy will process and dispatch the referral reward by the end of the following calendar month.
7.2. Prepaid Visa gift cards will be sent to the postal address provided or confirmed by the Referrer.
7.3. Referrers are responsible for ensuring their contact and postal details are accurate and up to date.
7.4. Venergy is not responsible for delivery failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the Referrer.
7.5. Gift cards are subject to the terms, conditions, activation requirements and expiry dates imposed by the relevant card issuer. These details will be provided with or made available for the gift card.
8. Duplicate Referrals
8.1. Where multiple Referrers submit the same prospective customer, only the first valid referral received by Venergy will be eligible for a reward.
8.2. Venergy’s recorded referral submission date and time will determine the order of referrals.
8.3. Subsequent referrals of the same customer will not qualify for additional rewards relating to the same installation.
8.4. Venergy reserves the right to verify duplicate submissions and resolve discrepancies using its referral records.
9. Referral Submission and Verification
9.1. Referrals must be submitted through Venergy’s designated referral form or another referral method expressly authorised by Venergy.
9.2. Once a referral is received, Venergy will make reasonable efforts to contact the Referred Customer using the details provided.
9.3. Where the Referred Customer cannot be contacted within 30 days of the initial referral submission despite reasonable contact attempts, Venergy may close the referral as inactive.
9.4. Submission of a referral does not guarantee its acceptance or eligibility for a reward.
9.5. Venergy may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify referral eligibility, customer consent or compliance with these Terms & Conditions.
10. Program Period
10.1. The Program applies to eligible referrals submitted between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026, inclusive.
10.2. Referrals submitted outside the Program Period are not eligible under these Terms & Conditions unless expressly accepted by Venergy.
10.3. Eligible referrals submitted during the Program Period may still qualify for rewards where installation, full payment and applicable rebate receipt occur after 31 December 2026, provided all other eligibility requirements have been satisfied.
10.4. These Terms & Conditions supersede previous Venergy referral program terms for referrals submitted during the 2026 Program Period, subject to any rights or entitlements already accrued under an earlier program.
11. Program Integrity and Exclusions
11.1. The Program is intended exclusively for genuine referrals of new residential customers to Venergy.
11.2. Venergy reserves the right to review and decline referrals where there are reasonable grounds to believe that:
The referral is fraudulent, misleading, duplicated or artificially generated.
The Referrer has submitted inaccurate or unauthorised customer information.
The referral has been arranged primarily to obtain a reward rather than to introduce a genuine prospective customer.
The referral involves an undisclosed commercial, financial or related-party arrangement inconsistent with the purpose of the Program.
The referral otherwise fails to meet the published eligibility criteria.
11.3. Venergy will assess eligibility reasonably and in good faith, having regard to these Terms & Conditions and the information available.
12. Privacy and Consent
12.1. By participating in the Program, Referrers consent to Venergy collecting and using their personal information for administering the Program, verifying referrals, communicating with participants and distributing rewards.
12.2. Referrers confirm that they have obtained the Referred Customer’s permission before submitting the customer’s personal information to Venergy.
12.3. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Venergy’s Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
12.4. Any marketing communications will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and consent requirements. Individuals may opt out of marketing communications using the available unsubscribe or opt-out process.
13. Changes, Suspension and Termination
13.1. Venergy may amend, suspend or terminate the Program where reasonably necessary for operational, commercial, legal or security reasons.
13.2. Any material changes will be published on Venergy’s website and will generally apply prospectively from the stated effective date.
13.3. Changes or termination will not retrospectively remove valid referral reward entitlements that have already accrued under the applicable Terms & Conditions.
13.4. If circumstances beyond Venergy’s reasonable control prevent the Program from operating as intended, Venergy may take reasonable steps to modify, suspend or cancel affected aspects of the Program, subject to applicable law.
14. Tax and Liability
14.1. Referrers are responsible for determining and meeting any personal tax obligations arising from referral rewards received under the Program.
14.2. Venergy is not responsible for the loss, theft or unauthorised use of a gift card after successful delivery, except to the extent caused by Venergy or where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
14.3. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Disputes and General Conditions
15.1. Any enquiries or disputes concerning referral eligibility, reward payments or the operation of the Program should be directed to Venergy Solar.
15.2. Venergy will review disputes reasonably and in good faith, having regard to these Terms & Conditions, referral submission records and relevant supporting information.
15.3. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
15.4. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, subject to any applicable mandatory legal protections.

Fred’s Van is a volunteer-run service provided by Vinnies, which provides comfort and a warm, nutritious meal for those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
With more than 650 volunteers serving 40,000 meals each year from eight sites across Adelaide and two regional sites in Port Lincoln and Port Pirie, Vinnies’ programs like Fred’s Van are funded through the CEO Sleepout and donations.

In support of Lifeline Adelaide and Eye Play Sport, some of our team at Venergy Australia spearheaded by our CEO Matthew Wilkins enjoyed a Melbourne Cup charity fundraiser lunch on 3 November 2020, where Venergy donated a Solar System Safety and Performance Inspection to be auctioned.
Lifeline Adelaide has offered crisis support to the community for more than 50 years. It is part of a national network of Lifeline centres, working together to save lives and provide training for good mental health in the workplace.
He did it! Our Commercial Bid and Strategy Manager, Curtis Montgomery, was one of the 100 brave souls who abseiled 70 metres down the InterContinental Adelaide on 17th September 2021 and had an absolute blast. He and the Venergy Australia Team have raised over $1,160 for Ronald McDonald House Adelaide to help and support seriously ill and injured children and their families.
Well done, Curtis! We are so honoured that you took part in the 2021 Adelaide City Plunge, and thank you for your amazing fundraising efforts.
All of Adelaide City Plunge participants have raised over $165,000 for RMHC SA, which equates to more than 1,040 nights’ accommodation. Congratulations and thank you RMHC SA and Zenith Events for such a great experience!

As an active board member of Blinding Sporting Council, Matthew Wilkins’ key focus is “creating fundraising opportunities. Through discovering these opportunities, I oversee from concept to realisation and ensure all money raised provides benefit to those most in need throughout South Australia’s blind and vision-impaired community.”
Matthew has worked with the legendary Victor Velgush, partnering with The Captain Davo for a charity event in March. TCD did a charity stream from SkyCity and Velgush made a huge personal donation of $5,000 off his own back. The BSC (also known as Eye Play Sport) was established in 1996 to provide support to people who are blind or vision impaired participating in sports, recreation, and community events.
On what was the wettest night on record in five years, Venergy CEO Matthew Wilkins braved the conditions on 17th June sleeping outside in Adelaide, smashing his $10,000 fundraising goal with $16,500 in the 2021 Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
Participating in his first Vinnies CEO Sleepout, Matthew’s fundraising efforts earned him a place amongst the Top 10 contributors on the night. A combined 136 CEOs from South Australia took part and together reached the highest donation amount yet, smashing its fundraising target of $800,000 by more than 100k – raising more than $900,000.
Venergy is a proud sponsor of the Onkaparinga Rugby Union Football Club. Founded in 1968, it is one of 13 Rugby clubs in South Australia and has been a successful breeding ground for Rugby players in the southern suburbs of Adelaide.
