Project Overview

Originally established in 1986, Cladding & Roofing is one of South Australia’s most reputable roofing and cladding providers. As a large, family-owned company employing over 80 permanent staff, it has built a strong reputation for delivering full-service roofing and cladding solutions to commercial and industrial clients across diverse industry sectors. With a strong commitment to quality and long-term sustainability, Cladding & Roofing partnered with Venergy Solar to implement a 100 kW solar energy system to reduce operational costs and enhance environmental performance.

"This project reinforces our commitment to building not just structures—but a sustainable future. Working with Venergy gave us the confidence that the system was designed and delivered with long-term performance in mind."

The Challenge

With a large facility and high daytime energy usage from machinery and equipment, Cladding & Roofing faced rising electricity costs. They needed a sustainable, cost-effective energy solution that aligned with their operational demands without interrupting business continuity.

The Solution

Venergy designed a tailored 100 kW solar PV system to meet Cladding & Roofing’s daytime load profile. The system was installed seamlessly by CEC-accredited technicians, with engineering and compliance handled from start to finish, ensuring the business could maintain full operation during the install.

The Results

Cladding & Roofing now benefits from an estimated 131,400 kWh of clean energy generated annually, helping to power its operations more sustainably. This has led to over $59,130 in yearly electricity bill savings, significantly reducing operational expenses. The installation has also contributed to a substantial reduction in the company’s carbon footprint, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility. With improved energy resilience and long-term cost control, Cladding & Roofing is well-positioned for a more sustainable future. Additionally, the project has strengthened the company’s reputation as an environmentally conscious leader in the construction and manufacturing sector.
